Sharanam

Vision

At Sharanam, our vision is to offer a welcoming and supportive space to anyone, at any point in their life. We aim to provide tools for relaxation, health, and navigating life with greater ease and resilience.

While there are many valuable group offerings available, we intentionally work with very small groups of 3–5 people. We’ve seen how deeply people benefit from a personalised approach — with room to breathe, space for individuality, and the freedom to shape their own rhythm within the program.

This makes our retreats suitable both for those seeking simple rest, yoga and nourishing food, and for those looking to explore emotional processes in a safe, respectful environment.

Our name, SHARANAM, means ‘welcome’ and ‘to take refuge in spirituality’. In Indian tradition, it is connected to the deity Ganesha, remover of obstacles — a symbol that resonates with our approach. We strive to offer grounded, heart-centered guidance rooted in openness, acceptance, conscious living and belief in personal growth.

We value freshness and variety — in food, movement, working hours and methods — to keep inspiration alive.

Nutrition

All meals at Sharanam retreats are home-cooked, vibrant, and nourishing. Our vegetarian, sugar-free world menu is always offered, with plenty of local and organic ingredients,  gluten-free and dairy-free options are available upon request. Expect fresh smoothies, home-baked bread, creative tapas and world food delights by Doby, our passionate chef.

Rather than promoting rigid diets (except for medical needs), we encourage a joyful, balanced relationship with food. Learning how ingredients affect your wellbeing is part of the journey — and joy is always on the menu.
